Cure for Covetousness

Exodus 20:17

Why do we want to keep the Ten Commandments?  Mark 12;29

What is the sin of covetousness?

What is the motive for our desires?

What is the direction for the cure for covetousness?

                1.            To believe is to receive.

                2.            To receive is to maintain a relationship with God.

                3.            Making God first in your life is the basis for all relationships.

                4.            The purpose in life begins with communication with the Father.

                5.            The balance of life continues with loving your neighbor.

The Tenth Commandment is the glue that holds life together.

                1.            Life can experience confusion.

                2.            The seat of confusion can lead to idolatry.
